Lisa asks…what to do when my house tenant violates HOA rules?My tenant who is renting my house in another state than where I reside, violated a rule or covenant of the homeowner's association of the community. The violation is apparently repeatedly leaving trash cans out when it is not trash day. I received a letter from the HOA asking for me to sign a letter telling them how I have corrected this violation. I live too far away to check on this violation myself.
